Key Ingredients

V-Bright uses Aloe Vera as a base for the balm. Applying this gel helps form a protective lay for the skin and helps to retain moisture. It is rich in antioxidants preventing premature ageing and boosting the healing process.

Kojic acid can be used to lighten visible sun damage, age spots, or scars. In addition to skin-lightening effects, kojic acid also contains some antimicrobial properties.

Niacinamide is a key ingredient in many of our products, and for good reason. Not only does it have a plethora of benefits as a skin care ingredient, but it is able to restore skin’s defences against moisture loss, minimise the appearance of enlarged pores and improve “orange peel” textured skin. It also visibly evens out skin tone and discolorations from sun damage.

Arbutin is one of the most effective ingredients for lightening hyperpigmentation and evening skin tone. This ingredient evens out and brightens skin tone, lightens darkened areas, and can help with the appearance of scars.

Salicylic Acid is an acid that works to exfoliate dead skin cells and unclog pores. This can help improve your skin’s texture and encourage new cell growth. Due to these exfoliating benefits of salicylic acid, when added to every day skin care, salicylic acid is best suited to skin types prone to acne, rough or bumpy skin.

Vitamin E is known to work as a powerful antioxidant, and has been shown to improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation.

Full Ingredients

The Elderi V-Bright balm contains kojic acid, niacinamide, arbutin, salicylic acid, and vitamin E, all in an aloe vera base.

Dosing Instructions

  • With clean hands, apply to clean and dry skin that is in need of lightning and massage thoroughly.
  • We highly recommend performing a skin sensitivity test by applying a small patch onto hyper-pigmentated skin on the arm or wrist. If no redness or itching occurs within 24 hours, you can apply where desired.

Contraindications

You should not take this if you are:

  • you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant or breastfeed.
  • you are using other medicated topical products (particularly peroxide products) on the same area at the same time unless directed to do so by your doctor.
  • allergic to any of the active or inactive ingredients.

When using Elderi V-Bright, ensure that you do not:

  • expose the area(s) being treated to the sun. Wear sunscreen if sun exposure cannot be avoided.
  • apply near the eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes.

We always recommend doing a patch test before actively using this scrub to ensure you are not allergic to any of the contents. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

When using non-medicated cosmetics, sunscreens, and moisturising lotions, apply the cream first, then wait several minutes before applying them over the top.

Store in a cool dry area away from light and direct heat. Discard 6 months from date made. For external use only.
